Military French Course 2010 lasted eight weeks, including two three-week distance learning periods and two three-day instructor-led periods. The first instructor-led period was conducted 18-20 May and the second 15-17 June.

Two native French speakers, a Frenchman and a Swiss, as well as a  Finnish language expert and a tutor provided the language instruction. The course emphasized French skills that focused on clear communication, grammar, style, and Military French.
