| A three-day Peace Support Operations Terminology Course PSOTC was conducted 8–10 December 2009. The course aim was military vocabulary enhancement through lessons and exercises.
The topics were: United Nations; structure, UN peacekeeping; operations and trends, Argumentation & discussion strategies, Negotiations, Radio communication, Operational planning process and abbreviations, PSO Structure and basics, Reporting, Briefings, Ranks/Organizations, Maps and terrain and Lessons Learned. The Finnish instructors, CDR Mäkinen, LTC Teräsvalli, MAJ Loponen, SSGT Peltonen, ThM, MA Kilpinen and MA Hujala as well as Major Gösta Pålsson from Sweden were experts in their own field.  |
