FINCENT field exercise area is located in Niinisalo, some 250 kms north-west of the capital Helsinki. The nearest town is Kankaanpää, which is a small town with some 12 000 inhabitants.
Traditional and very high-level courses, such as the United Nations Military Observer Course (UNMOC), are arranged partly in Artillery Brigade’s Exercise Area in Niinisalo, as the terrain there has proven to be excellent for the demanding observer exercises.
Please note: FINCENT itself is located in Tuusula, near Helsinki.

Training areas Niinisalo offers excellent terrain and large training areas.
