| A three-day Peace Support Operations Terminology Course PSOTC was conducted from 8 to 10 December 2010. The course aim was military vocabulary enhancement through lessons and exercises.
The topics were NATO, the UN, Operational Planning Process, Maps and Terrain, Radio Communication, Ranks/Organizations and Army Vocabulary, Army Aviation, the Navy, PSO Structure and Basics, Reporting and Briefings.
The Finnish instructors, LTC Mattinen, CDR Mäkinen, LTC Hirvonen, MAJ Raunio, CAPT Rantanen, Ms Reims, Mr Kakko and Ms Siponmaa, as well as MAJ Gösta Pålsson from Sweden were experts in their own field. |
