Military English Course MEC 1/11 lasted eight weeks, including two three-week distance learning periods and two three-day instructor-led periods. The first instructor-led period was conducted from 25 to 27 January and the second from 22 to 24 February.
Three native English speakers, two from the UK and one from the US, as well as two Finnish language experts provided the language instruction. The course emphasized English skills that focused on clear communication, grammar, style and Military English.
